• We have plenty of recruitment materials that are ready for you!! We will customize flyers with your unit's information! These are perfect to send to your schools and churches with your unit's next meeting date to recruit more youth - they will have a blast doing awesome Spring and Summer activities. • Webelos Leader Outdoor Training (WLOT) will take place on May 4th at Bridge to Grace Church, 2385 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell, GA 30076; Cost $20. This is the required training for Webelos Leaders to take Scouts camping. Class 1 medical form is required for all participants. To register contact: Juha Harkonen or 678-429-7631.
• A one-day fly fishing clinic for ages 10 to 15 will be held at Garrard Landing (8800 Holcomb Bridge Rd) on May 4 between 8:30AM and 1:30PM. Lunch will be provided. The clinic is limited to 36 students and is $20. The beginning fly fisher will get basic instruction in all phases of fly fishing including fly casting, knot tying, insect identification, and conservation. See website for more details.
• Our district twilight camp 'Postcards from Space' will be a BLAST this year. Registration opens on March 11th with camp from Friday, June 7th - Tuesday, June 11th from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm daily. The cubs will be able to enjoy a variety of activities which include BB Guns, Archery, Sports, Crafts, Costumes, Games, Science, Rockets, Scout Skills, and more! This will be held at St. Francis School - 9375 Willeo Road, Roswell. The fee is $85 is you register before April 30th.
