Eagle Board-of-Review and Life-to-Eagle Seminar
Process
All Eagle candidate applications must be approved by the
Atlanta Area Council Program Center.
-
The District Advancement Chair must have received all Council approved applications two (2) weeks prior to the next Eagle Board-of-Review,
-
Scout leaders must contact the Advancement Chair (advance @ cdbsa.org) as soon as possible to schedule the Scout’s participation in an upcoming Review Session. Two weeks notice is requested,
-
Scout leaders must ensure the attendance of no less than
three (3) adults for the Board-of-Review. The Scout Master should plan to attend to introduce the Eagle candidate to the Board,
-
The Unit’s Advancement Chair or Life-to-Eagle Advisor will be asked to act as a District Representative (if needed) on a Board for another unit,
- Leaders should encourage all Life Scouts to attend the
Life-to-Eagle Forum (conducted at every monthly Board-of-Review). It is recommended that leaders confirm the number of Life participants with the Chattahoochee Advancement Team. Unit Advancement Chairs and Life-to-Eagle Advisors should also attend the forum, at least once, to become familiar with the Life-to-Eagle process.
